Carpet Rolls Or Carpet Tiling - Domestic Or Commercial
We install both carpet tiles and wall-to-wall carpet rolls ‒ whichever is your preference.
Generally, carpet tiles are more cost-effective and easier to install, but they tend to be less luxurious and more functional. Typically, carpet tiles are installed in large commercial spaces such as offices, school buildings or shop floors because they are cheap and easy to maintain. If a tile becomes damaged, it is far easier to remove and replace than wall-to-wall carpet rolls.
Wall-to-wall carpet rolls tend to be more luxurious than carpet tiles, with more varieties available on the market. While slightly more expensive and takes longer in terms of installation and materials, carpet rolls make for a gorgeous finish to a room. Wall-to-wall carpet rolls are typically favoured in homes because of their variety, comfort and aesthetic qualities.
Carpet Repairs And Stretching
We work fast and ensure the highest quality standards. We will make your worn carpets look like new for a fraction of the price of installing new ones.
If your carpet has significant damage in one spot, there are ways to repair it without replacing the whole carpet.
Carpet stretching is needed when a carpet is ageing or was never installed correctly in the first place.
You may be in need of carpet stretching if your carpet has started to bunch up or bubble in places. Another sign that your carpet might need to be stretched is that the edges have started coming loose from their fastenings along the walls or lifting around doorways.
Instead of replacing the entire carpet, stretching can make your carpet look new once more for a fraction of the cost.
Using our specialised techniques and tools, we stretch your carpet out to be flush with the floor once more, removing all bunching and bubbling, and make sure that it’s properly adhered to the floor to prevent it from coming loose again. We then reattach the edges of the carpets with new fastenings along the skirtings and under doorways to provide a seamless finish.
Carpet Steam Cleaning
Steam cleaning is a powerful and effective way of cleaning and sterilising even the toughest of dirt. It’s used to great effect when cleaning clothes, curtains, furniture, car interiors and, of course, carpets.
Steam cleaning uses heat and water to generate high-temperature pressurised steam, which is then blasted into the fibres of a carpet. It’s effective because the mixture of the high temperature and water powerfully removes stubborn dirt and even stains while effectively sanitising it as well.
What’s great about steam cleaning is that it doesn’t require any chemicals — although some additional deodorisers and other kinds of cleaning agents can be used when necessary if you’re dealing with a badly soiled carpet that hasn’t been cleaned in a while.
At Carpet Empire, we have high-end steam carpet cleaners that will make your carpets look and feel like new, ensuring that they are sanitised and made safe, whether at home or at your place of work.
Flooded Carpets
We have a range of specialised tools and equipment for performing flooded carpet restoration.
Among these are high-powered industrial vacuums designed to suck up as much moisture as possible from the carpet. We also employ powerful dehumidifiers to dry out the air in the affected space as much as possible, as well as industrial fans to keep the air moving and speed up drying.
We will also lift the carpet to ensure no moisture remains trapped underneath.
Once everything is dry again, we have the right tools to properly clean and sanitise the carpet before reapplying it once again. This is done to remove any lingering chemicals or contaminants that may have intruded into the carpet during the flooding, including any mould that might have started to grow overnight.
When we’re done, your carpet will look, feel and smell like new.
